We love the convenience of ordering online for food delivery and we order all the time. But we noticed that, while many restaurants have great food, they lose potential sales because they don't provide an online ordering service. And many of those who have built their own online ordering service end up with a buggy program, resulting in bad user experiences. This is when we noticed that restaurant owners don't have a choice. Either they go with one of the big portals, who charge between 10%-40% commission on every order, or ask the web agency of their choice to build a custom module - which turns out to be very expensive as well. It is our goal to solve this problem and provide a solution that restaurant owners and their customers love.

Oliver started his career 15 years ago at Avira, the free antivirus software with more than 100 million users worldwide, during which he learnt about the nuts and bolts of running a successful business. So it was only a matter of time until Oliver's ability to adapt and roll up his sleeves would ignite his spark for entrepreneurship.
Having an analytical mind enabled him to reverse engineer all the problems that came his way. In fact, that's how GloriaFood came to be: Oliver saw a huge gap in the restaurant industry canvas that needed to be glued back together.
Now, the online ordering software he helped design allows thousands of restaurant owners around the world to take free & unlimited online orders. His ultimate goal is to make the GloriaFood product available to millions of restaurant owners in the years to come.
Throughout his career, Mihai has mainly led new ideas to a good start. He accomplished this either within a larger organization, developing new business lines along an existing cash-cow, or as part of small start-up companies.
His most notable contributions include growing the RAV Antivirus (acquired by Microsoft), the Axigen server (a start-up initiative of Gecad group), and the development of a Global Technology Business line for Avira.
With more than 15 years of IT&C business experience, Mihai is a Corporate Manager that keeps a start-up approach when it comes to hands-on business development. With a focus on IT&C industry and with specific knowledge in Online Ordering, Messaging, Security & eCommerce, Mihai is typically acting in dynamic environments and emerging markets, striving to deliver quality and benefits to the entities he is working with.
Cosmin’s personal mantra is: “simplicity is the key”, and he has actually done a great job implementing it in all of the projects he managed.
He started with web development more than 17 years ago, leading several teams of talented engineers. Throughout his career, he built innovative in-house applications essential for generating revenues and critical business infrastructure services.
Later on, he assembled the team which developed an online cloud platform accessed by tens of millions of users each day.
With his hands on attitude, Cosmin recently helped create a mobile engineering team and got familiar with the mobile devices ecosystem.
Liviu has been building software with various technologies since 2005. Early on he liked to experiment with new technologies, a practice that has made him familiar with Node.js, NoSQL databases and Cloud infrastructure.
Nowadays he specializes in programmable interfaces and scalable Web architectures. When dealing with system complexity, he will always strive toward one design principle: less is more.
Up to date, he has helped develop a number of mobile hybrid chat applications and web applications (including a private app for cryptocurrencies).
He enjoys a good laugh as much as the next guy, yet when he's working he is pragmatic and extremely professional. We're glad to have him on board.
Possessing an incredible work ethic, Catalin has started working from his very first year of university, developing apps using Augmented Reality and creating beautiful online shops using platforms, such as: Wordpress, Magento, Shopify, Laravel, Zend Framework, Symfony, and Android Studio.
He also masters a number of in-high demand technologies, like: Java, PHP, Composer, NodeJS, SocketIO, KnockoutJS, RequireJS, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Varnish, Google AR Core, Redis - that would make older professionals jealous.
Although he's young, his impressive work quality recommends him as a true perfectionist, who leaves nothing to chance. Yet, he continues to hone his programming skills, by attending industry conferences and even pursuing a Master's Degree in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.

Having started his career as a QA Tester in charge of finding problems, Cristian knows just how important it is do deliver a flawless project, right from the very beginning. So he doesn’t finish working on a project until he’s 1000% satisfied with the results.
Before joining GloriaFood, he spent many years collaborating with small startups, where he got used to a high pace work environment where his main objective was to deliver high-quality applications despite time and funding constraints. At GloriaFood, he maintains this high agility, high quality mentality.
Dragos loves to read about trading and training on stock/crypto markets, as well as keep up to date with local and global politics. At the same time, he enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and go skiing.
With 11+ years of experience in Full-Stack Agile Web Development, Grigorii is the man for the job when it comes to product modernization, security, marketing campaigns, and analytics.
His leadership skills and perfectionism are the perfect ingredients for a software engineer who sees the bigger picture and knows how to provide valuable feedback.
What makes Grigorii unique is that he understands that collaboration and mutual help are essential if you want to reach the best results. He is eager to learn from others as well as from his own past mistakes.

Adrian started writing programs, algorithms, and logical schemas in fourth grade. 25+ years later, he can say he’s extremely happy to have started on this path at such a young age.
During his extensive career, he worked on many challenging and complex projects including websites, online shops, mobile apps, and ERPs. Naturally, he felt like the right fit for GloriaFood.
Adrian’s forte is always finding the optimal solution when it comes to the complexity of the code, its performance, and the implementation timeframe.
Besides writing code, Adrian enjoys playing the piano and keeping active by riding his bike or motorbike.

She is an agile professional, with more than a decade of experience in Software Product Management. And she always stays true to her goal: flawlessly executing a business plan, from creating the concept to even testing the functionality of the final project. She doesn't leave anything to chance, even if that means counting pixels.
Over the course of the last years, Georgiana has helped shape the roadmap of our great product whilst successfully delivering winning systems for increasing conversion and retention rates.
Victor’s extensive professional background is a mix of Project Management and Business Analysis. His near-obsession with building products that customers love drove his natural inclination toward Product Management.

Iusti is a self taught designer who started at the age of 16. Although he originally started with web and video design he was one of the first to move into mobile design.
Today he's a passionate web interface designer who enjoys pushing pixels and focuses on pixel perfect design in order to create attractive, clean and intuitive user experiences.
Andreea is extremely passionate about marketing in all of its forms. She started her career crafting profit-generating marketing strategies for Jaltek Group, a technology solutions organisation operating across a wide range of markets, such as Clean Energy, Defence & Aerospace, Homeland Security, Medical Research, or Space.
She then transitioned towards working within the health market, where she performed a wide range of marketing activities that helped drive a high revenue business.
Working with these industries enabled her to gain a complex understanding of how to best convey key messages to different people. Her personal philosophy is “there's nothing I can't do as long as I put my mind to it”.
Always taking advantage of her eagerness to learn more, Andreea is an extremely determined person, with a nearly-contagious can-do attitude in the face of challenges.

Since he was always passionate about computers and the internet, Iulian quickly became an IT expert.
It is good to mention that Iulian used to work as a chef in a local restaurant several years back before falling in love with the tech world.

Before coming to GloriaFood, Daniel has worked in different sectors, such as Marketing and Sales. And while he did learn a lot about these industries, working as a Customer Support Specialist was what he found most fulfilling of them all.
The reason why this job fits him like a glove is because of his innate empathy and his ability to find a solution to every problem. In fact, this is second nature to him. He can easily relate to people and to their problems and is able to put himself in their shoes without a struggle. And in his honest opinion, “this is the most important quality that most Custom Support specialists are lacking”.

Coming from the tropical paradise of Saint Lucia, Keith has been around the food industry his entire life, helping his brother manage the family’s catering business. He knows how to run a successful business, since he has done everything from serving and preparing delicious Caribbean dishes, developing appealing catering menus, coming up with the best pricing methods, and so much more.
The time he spent studying Accounting in the US, as well as the time he spent as an Inventory Manager shaped his very extensive background in accounting and financing. So he is also able to spot the best saving opportunities for any restaurant and hospitality business.
What we like the most about him is that he is always willing to help those around him; he is very passionate about seeing things through and delivering great results. His dream is to open a Caribbean restaurant in Europe.

Before joining our team, he worked as a Team Leader for one of the world's largest platform for startup founders, where he acted as the liaison between several company departments and customers. After working in the radio business for over 15 years as a DJ & Programming Director, Aurelian decided to take on a new challenge and explore the world on board of cruise ships. His position as Guest Services Associate helped him gather experience in a multi-ethnical, multi-cultural environment.
That’s where he learned to adapt his work ethic and timing to the fast-paced industry of cruise travel. Helping people became his second nature, which is why his current position at GloriaFood fits him like a glove.

Rona followed many professional paths in different industries until she found Customer Support. She worked in human resources as a recruiter, and in constructions for a flooring manufacturer as a regional sales representative.
All these jobs may be wildly different, but they have one vital thing in common: they are customer-oriented, and Rona had a lot to learn from each of them.
She started her career at Oracle 4 years ago, then seamlessly transitioned to the GloriaFood Customer Success team post the acquisition. Always with a smile on her face, she provides invaluable support to our clients.
